Chances are that not everyone on LinkedIn is following you on Twitter. So what if you want to keep your LinkedIn contacts up-to-date with your status? This is where this Twitter 2 LinkedIn tutorial comes in.
In the slideshare presentation I will show you can automatically sync your Twitter messages with your LinkedIn profile status. You can also install filters to select which messages should or should not be posted on LinkedIn.
Just note, that just because it is possible to post from Twitter to LinkedIn, doing so isn't always the best option. You might want to be selective as what Twitter messagesnget through to LinkedIn. Here I give you some more information about 'filtering' options that are possible with YahooTM Pipes to have more control over the Twitter messages that are published as your LinkedIn status.
For example:
You can use the filter in Yahoo Pipes to only publish Twitter messages with certain words/ letters in it to LinkedIn. For example, you could filter your tweets and only select those with the hashtag '#LinkedIn' and only put those messages on LinkedIn.
(Additionally, you could use the Regex module to remove the hashtag and only put the rest of the message on your LinkedIn profile)
This can save you time because if you are already on Twitter, you don't have to go to LinkedIn to post a message. This makes it easier to cross post your status thus making it more likely your LinkedIn profile is up-to-date and more dynamic.
